PHP Developer

Job Description

Position Summary

The PHP Developer will assist in the development and daily maintenance of the STS ERP solution. This role will work with other members of the Central Development and Training team to ensure the successful implementation and continual maintenance of STS’ technical solutions.

Essential Job Functions

· Work directly with Odoo team to develop ERP system for STS.

· Be an active participant in the technical design and planning work with all relevant stakeholders, internal and external.

· Develop and maintain STS internal systems to ensure peak performance and reliability.

· Collaborate with all key stakeholders to define, design, and update new features

· Optimize and maintain all STS websites, ensuring stability and full content updates

· Ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and efficient workflows.

· Maintains continual awareness of new applications and principles and applies those applications and principles to any existing and/or new projects.

· Undertakes special projects in support of STS business objectives.

· Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirement

Education/Training

·         Bachelor's degree and/or certification/coursework in Web Development, Computer Science or related field, required.

Experience

·         A minimum of 4 years’ experience working with PHP programming, including developing API services (Python)

·         Extensive experience with framework Laravel 8, CodeIgniter 4 and Wordpress

·         Proficiency in front-end development technologies: JavaScript, HTML and CSS

·         Experience designing and integrating APIs – RESTful API

·         Familiarity with RDBMS databases (MySQL, MSSQL, Postgres)

·         Proficient in using GitHub and Bitbucket for version control, AWS to manage code, cloud architecture

·         Deep understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and design patterns.
