BIM & Civil Engineer

The duties and responsibilities of BIM & Civil Engineer include but is not limited to:

1. BIM Modeling and Data Management:

• Develop and maintain Building Information Modeling (BIM) for the entire Vietnam-Germany University (VGU) campus using BIM software;
• Utilize data from 3D scanning devices (point cloud) and 2D drawings to create accurate BIM models;
• Manage spatial data using BIM, updating information according to the progress of infrastructure development, new construction projects, or renovation efforts.

2. Documentation and BIM Data Visualization: Generate and publish 2D and 3D drawings, as well as simulation videos, to support reporting, presentations, and other facility planning tasks.

3. Building Maintenance and Repair Management:

• Conduct regular inspections of campus buildings and structures, identifying maintenance, repair, and renovation needs;
• Develop and oversee the implementation of periodic maintenance plans to ensure the quality and longevity of infrastructure.

4. Project Documentation and Construction Planning Support: Collaborate with the IPMU Department to prepare project documentation for obtaining approvals for new construction projects such as dormitories, as well as renovation and expansion initiatives at VGU.

5. Perform other support tasks: Support other tasks as required by the BFM Department and superiors, ensuring the department's operations are efficient and continuously meet work requirements.

6. Support for Internal Activities and Events:

• Assist other departments with spatial data, technical drawings, and facility-related technical requests;
• Provide support for university events related to infrastructure planning and space arrangements.

Yêu Cầu Công Việc

1. Qualification: Bachelor's degree in in Civil Engineering, Architecture or equivalent

2. Experiences: 

• Minimum 5 years in BIM modeling by revit, tekla
• Experience in designing and executing Level-1 and Level-2 construction projects using BIM

3. Knowledge:

• Have in-depth knowledge and skills in of BIM software (Revit, AutoCAD, Tekla…)
• Have full knowledge of BIM model implementation using Revit, Tekla from Point cloud device and 2d drawing
• Basic understanding of state standards and regulations on construction maintenance and regulations on construction investment
• Ability to translate documents into English

4. Skills

• Excellent in softwares Revit, autocad, tekla
• Excellent in office softwares (Word, Excel, PPT…)
• Strong problem resolution skill
• Good communication skills
