VAN THIEL & CO. is looking for a dynamic PRIVATE CHEF in Ho Chi Minh City, District 2. As a leading creative design source in the world, we are looking for someone who can deliver beauty, elegance, and culinary excellence, combined with a top class presentation of food and table settings.

You’ll be in charge of:
Planning a varied menu, preparing and cooking meals, ensuring that food is served fresh and on time;
Company lunch for 25 people, 5 days a week;
Family dinners, ~1-2 times a week;
Customer dinners, ~3-4 time a month;
Parties and buffets for +/- 20 guests, once a month;
Company parties for +/- 50 guests, once a month;
Managing a team of 2 cooks (and further assistants at events, as needed);
Managing stock and ensuring the kitchen is kept clean at all times.

We’re looking for a Chef who:
Speaks fluent English (Vietnamese is a plus);
Is passionate about gastronomy and good, healthy food;
Cooks with fresh locally grown products;
Has a clean, organized, and calm approach in the kitchen;
Can work at their own initiative, has knowledge of food safety, and is well organized;
Has a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a private chef or at high-level restaurants (at least as junior Sous-Chef);
Shows proven ability to cook to dinner party standard;
