Create the commercial strategy for all products: develop the price, promotion, placement, point of sale and product assortment strategy by channel (5Ps)
Responsible for setting the promotional strategy/programs that maximizes sales and margin and for evaluating trade promotional effectiveness (ROI)
For all products define the picture of success based around the 5Ps and brief sales team
Support the preparation of the annual business plan by defining the commercial and channel objectives and strategies (sales, distribution, promotional investment[NTH1] )
Develop the Trade Selling materials: to equip the sales team to be successful in selling MSI products
Create compelling content for sales/detailing materials for the sales team to use when selling/detailing products to Health Care Professionals (working closely with clinical, supply teams to ensure accurate information)
Work with agencies to design effective selling materials (create brand positioning, visual iconography)
Develop merchandising solutions to create strong visibility in pharmacy, clinics, grocery.
Build the promotion programs to maximize number of customers, customer’s loyalty.
Develop a range products of Sexual Reproductive Health (and other products)
Run market assessments (product safaris) to identify potential products to launch developing the 5P and launch strategy.
Work with regulatory specialist and supply team to identify product requirements and local regulations to create successful products for launch and to ensure products meet MSI’s high quality standards and performance criteria.
Carry out product registration procedures with authorities.
Lead the signoff and approval of the product P&Ls for approval to launch (the financial business case and product marketing & Trade Marketing launch plans)

Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent in: Business & Marketing; Pharmacy would be helpful.
Proven experience in developing commercial or sales and marketing plans including the 5Ps.
Proven experience in healthcare new brand/ product development & launch
Extensive experience working in the pharmaceutical sectors with technical knowledge in healthcare products.
Experience in sexual reproductive health and related sectors is highly preferred.
Has worked in sales so understands challenges of front line selling.
