Support the Manufacturing Manager in planning, coordinating, and overseeing daily production activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Monitor production schedules and adjust as necessary to meet deadlines and production targets.
Ensure that production processes are carried out in compliance with quality standards and safety regulations.
· Team Supervision:
Supervise and provide guidance to production staff, including training, performance evaluation, and development.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and addressing any staff issues promptly.
· Quality Control:
Assist in implementing and maintaining quality control processes and procedures.
Monitor production quality and troubleshoot any issues that arise, ensuring that all products meet the required specifications.
· Resource Management:
Help manage the inventory of raw materials, supplies, and finished products.
Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of materials and resources.
· Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within the manufacturing operations.
Assist in the development and implementation of lean manufacturing practices and other efficiency-enhancing initiatives.
· Safety and Compliance:
Ensure that all manufacturing activities adhere to health and safety regulations.
Conduct regular safety inspections and training sessions for staff to maintain a safe working environment.
· Reporting and Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of production metrics, inventory levels, and other relevant data.
Prepare and present regular reports on production performance and issues to the Manufacturing Manager.
Job Requirement
*** Requirements:
· Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
· University or College degree in engineering, business administration or equivalent combination of technical training.
· Experience with lean manufacturing principles and quality control processes is highly desirable.
· Experience working for a foreign owned enterprise.
· Priority is given to candidates with English skills.

*** Organization Relationship:
· The Assistant to Manufacturing Manager/ Group Leader reports directly to the Manufacturing Manager and has a support responsibility to the production of the 2nd shift.
· Work Environment: Primarily works in a manufacturing environment, with exposure to noise, chemicals, and machinery.
