Olam Food Ingredients (ofi) is a global leader offering naturally good food & beverage ingredients and solutions. ofi commenced operations in Vietnam in 1997, setting up its representative office. ofi Vietnam is currently the largest exporter of Cashews, Pepper & Instant Coffee in Vietnam, investing in the state-of-the-art instant coffee facility and running 7 large factories with 7,500 employees across Central & South Vietnam. Our operations have an interface with a farmer network of 2 million farmers. We are also amongst the largest exporter of Green Coffee in Vietnam.

Objective/Purpose of Job:
Execute the business plans for the quarter
Develop long term strategy, to increase top line and reduce costs
Budgetary Responsibility:
Execute Minor projects [<$10k] and support large projects
Duties & Responsibilities
Role is for a dedicated and detail-oriented Associate to support our management team, in driving strategic initiatives and assisting in the execution of business plans. This will include coordinating with various teams such as Logistics, Planning, Warehouse, and Production to ensure effective operations.
- Drive the business plans closely, on a quarter to quarter basis.
- Analyze data to identify trends and inform decision-making processes
- Identify new business opportunities, markets, and partnerships.
- Prepare reporting snapshots and communication decks
- Continuous Coordination with Imports, Warehousing, Planning, Upcountry Units, and Shipping teams to execute the operations plan
- Monitor and control, business health, stock aging, asset utilizations
- Develop Process manual by coordinating with Production/Factory manager
- Lead process excellence in coordination with the Managers and support the implementation of best practices
Job Requirement
Education/Knowledge, Skills, Attributes, Experience & Other Requirements
Bachelor’s/ master’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Sales, or related field.
4-7 years of experience in business development or related role
Good understanding of import and export regulations and logistics operations.
Strong organizational and project management skills and the ability to interpret data
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Interest to develop a career in business operations
Basic exposure to standardised Quality and GMP systems in Food Processing
