Business Developing:
- Develop, implement & evaluate the strategic business development plan
- Identify & explore new business opportunities to increase revenue and profitability, including new markets, growth areas, partnerships, services,… or new ways of reaching existing markets.
- Analyze the company’s competitive landscape & market trends to forecast business goals
- Develop & manage relationships with clients, key stakeholders & business partners
- Prepare & present business proposals & pitches to potential clients, or even to investors
- Manage the company’s business development budget & expenditures
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to align goals & strategies
Team Managing:
- Oversee the development of Account teams/Sales teams, including recruiting, training & performance evaluations
- Assign projects to suitable Teams & follow up the timelines, give advice or find solutions when needed
- Support Account Managers in reviewing & finalizing Quotations before sending them to clients.
- Report on successes & areas needing improvements to CEO
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or a related field (a master’s degree is advantageous). At least 7 - 10 years of experience working in Event/ Marketing/Media/ TVC …industry.
- A proficient Business Development Director should possess a combination of strategic thinking abilities, industry knowledge & excellent interpersonal skills. These include:
- Business acumen to identify & leverage growth opportunities for the company.
- Excellent communication skills & strong negotiation skills
- An analytical mindset to evaluate the success of business strategies & initiatives & make necessary adjustments.
- Problem-solving skills to identify & address obstacles to business growth.
- Understanding of market trends & competitor activity to inform business planning.
- Experience in budgeting & financial planning to ensure business development activities are cost-effective.
- Strong networking skills to build & maintain relationships with partners, stakeholders, & clients.
- Proficiency in project management to oversee the implementation of business strategies & initiatives.
