* Financial Systems & Reporting: - Establish and maintain accounting systems/ procedures that ensure data integrity. - Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger. - Analyze financial data, prepare financial statements, and generate reports for internal and external stakeholders.
* Financial Planning & Analysis: - Collaborate in forecasting financial requirements and creating annual budgets on indirect overheads and Manufacturing overhead - Monitor and analyze variances between budget and actual results, recommending actions. - Participate in strategic planning by providing financial data and analysis.
* Internal Controls & Compliance: - Implement and enforce strong internal controls to safeguard financial assets and ensure accurate financial reporting. - Coordinate and facilitate external audits and internal audits
* Tax - Prepare tax return preparation and others - Ensure compliance within the company
* Team Leadership & Development: - Provide guidance and direction to the accounting team, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and accurately. - Motivate and develop the accounting staff through coaching and mentorship.
Job Requirement
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent attention to detail is crucial - Proficiency in ERP (SAP, Oracle…) - Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required to collaborate with other teams - The ability to work independently and as part of a team is important, as accounting managers often oversee a team of accounting staff. - BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, or Economics - CFA or ACCA is a plus
