1. Contribute to the development and execution of the segment strategy plan and take a lead in defining, and owning, the specific implications for the country.
2. Develop and maintain a high level of project customer intimacy by cultivating strong relationships with the technical teams at strategic independent and other nominated key accounts within the segments across the country.
3. Co-operate with RD&I, QA & production teams to ensure all products of AkzoNobel (especially project portfolio) meet up-to-dated testing requirements/ newly-announced quality standards quality standards (Ministry of Construction & Ministry of Industry & Trade) which enable to win mega & S&M projects and competitive advantage vs competitors.
4. Work closely with Sales Team (retail & project) & Functional Teams to align on the commercial quality processes (excluding technical service) geared towards achievement of the segment financial and non-financial deliverables and robust control on quality management both Akzo & non Akzo sites.
5. Work closely with Asian Commercial Quality Team to align on the global/ regional commercial quality processes (excluding technical service) geared towards achievement of quality improvement & process robustness which much support to gain customer confidence on AkzoNobel quality & services.
6. Ensure that the product pipeline is managed effectively to efficiently deliver on committed dates as well as ensuring risks are managed to avoid negative market feedback.
7. Drive and coordinate for a robust value engineering pipeline based on future projected business that will deliver ongoing improvements in margins.
8. Ensure that the technical service team inputs fully and effectively to key supporting processes, e.g. CRM database accuracy in integrated business planning (IBP), opportunity management in the sales process and claims management process (RFW).
9. Control & ensure data integrity and accuracy for management team decision making process through IBP & CRM.
1. Knowledge & Skills – preferred but not essential
2. Knowledge & Work Experience – referred Paints & Coatings industry, any B2B industry environment, customer / segment profiling, 3-5 years of work experience in technical services or quality control
3. Minimum Bachelor Degree in chemical engineering, chemistry or related field. Masters of Science in related field and/or business administration will be a strong preference
4. Skills – Leadership, managerial skills, stakeholder management, decision making, creating value propositions, communication and presentation, commercial and business acumen, basic understanding of financial concepts related to sales and cost to serve
