Commodity Manager Lead

Job Description

· Sourcing & Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers for lead, cable, and related materials. Establish long-term partnerships for quality and cost efficiency.

· Cost & Contract Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms to achieve cost savings and mitigate supply risks.

· Market & Risk Analysis: Monitor raw material price fluctuations, supply chain risks, and industry trends to develop procurement strategies.

· Quality & Compliance: Ensure suppliers meet industry standards and compliance regulations (e.g., RoHS, REACH, ISO).

· Inventory & Supply Chain Optimization: Work closely with production, logistics, and engineering teams to manage inventory levels and supply continuity.

· Sustainability & Innovation: Explore alternative materials, eco-friendly solutions, and recycling initiatives to align with corporate sustainability goals.

Job Requirement

·       Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.

·       3-7 years of experience in procurement or commodity management, specifically in lead, cable, or electrical components.

·       Strong knowledge of lead and cable materials, manufacturing processes, and market dynamics.

·       Experience with contract negotiation, supplier management, and cost analysis.

·       Proficiency in SAP, ERP systems, and procurement tools.

·       Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
