We are seeking a talented Content Writer & Editor specializing in creating and refining different types of content for English-speaking markets, supporting our growth of a new business unit. The successful candidate will play a key role in producing high-quality, engaging content that aligns with SEO strategies and drives conversions in eCommerce industries.
Key Responsibilities
You’ll be responsible for recruiting and managing a team of freelance writers, reviewing and editing their content, and ensuring all output meets our quality standards. In addition, you’ll directly contribute by writing high-difficulty articles and optimizing content performance for better lead generation.
Project Management: Collaborate with SEO experts to simultaneously implement multiple SEO projects at the same time, ensuring KPIs are achieved on time.
Content Creation: Draft and write high-difficulty articles, creating outlines and tackling more complex pieces of content.
Content Editing: Review, edit, and refine content submitted by freelancers, ensuring quality standards are met before publication.
Quality Control: Develop evaluation criteria to assess content quality and manage performance incentives for the freelance writing team.
Conversion Optimization: Work with the content and SEO teams to improve content performance, optimizing for lead generation and conversions.
Field Research: Conduct deep research on specific fields to serve clients effectively.
Training & Support: Help train freelance writers, ensuring they meet content standards and have knowledge of the fields, and support them throughout the onboarding process.
Payment Coordination: Oversee freelance writer payments, ensuring everything is processed smoothly at the end of each month.

Qualifications
Proven Experience: At least 1.5 years of experience as a Content Editor or Writer, preferably in targeting English-speaking audiences.
English Proficiency: IELTS Writing 7.0 or above, or an equivalent level of fluency in English.
SEO Knowledge: A solid understanding of SEO principles, search intent, assessing competitors for each keyword and how to implement them to optimize content for search rankings and conversion.
Writing & Editing Skills: Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality, persuasive content and strong editing skills to refine and enhance team submissions.
Project Management: Experience managing a team of freelance writers, ensuring deadlines are met, and content aligns with quality standards.
Collaboration & Communication: Strong ability to work closely with internal teams to ensure content strategies align with SEO and lead generation goals.
Tool Proficiency (Nice-to-have): Familiarity with Google Docs, Google Sheets, and SEO tools such as Ahrefs.
eCommerce Knowledge (Nice-to-have): Preferred experience writing for topics related to platforms like Shopify, Magento, and other eCommerce solutions.
