The Deputy Marketing Manager – Event is responsible for supporting the Marketing Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing all events and promotions held at Shopping centre. The role involves ensuring smooth operations, handling client relationships, and ensuring that events meet the high standards of Shopping centre as a premier shopping and entertainment destination.
1. Detailed Planning:
- Plan events from concept to implementation, ensuring timelines and standards are met.
- Communicate with clients, retailers, and organizations to schedule and oversee events in the shopping center.
- Arrange necessary supplies, including staging, lighting, sound, seating, food, and decorations.
- Review plans with Operations and Engineering for cleaning, security, and installation logistics.
- Ensure sufficient staff for events, assigning duties based on expertise, and briefing all relevant personnel.
2. Supervision and Issue Handling:
- Oversee event execution and handle unexpected challenges professionally.
- Ensure all event details are submitted to relevant authorities for approval.
3. Budget Management:
- Monitor and manage event budgets, ensuring expenses align with plans.
- Report budget usage and cost efficiency to the Marketing Manager.
- Ensure timely payments to contractors.
4. Post-Event Evaluation:
- Collect feedback from customers, partners, and staff to assess event success.
- Propose improvements for future events.
5. Research and Evaluation:
- Research potential new events and activities for the shopping center.
- Ensure detailed event schedules are communicated to all stakeholders.
6. Brand Image:
- Help maintain a positive image for the shopping center, promoting it as a premier shopping and leisure destination in Ho Chi Minh City.
7. Leadership:
- Establish effective communication channels with all stakeholders and maintain good relations with the landlord.
- Conduct regular staff appraisals and address training and development needs.
- Organize team meetings to discuss upcoming activities and general requirements.
