Objective of role:
As an Ecommerce Sales Associate, your primary objective is to drive online sales and contribute to the overall growth and success of our ecommerce platform. You will be responsible for various tasks
related to managing our website, engaging with customers, and optimizing the online shopping experience to maximize sales and customer satisfaction.
Detailed responsibilities/accountabilities
1. Sales Generation:
▪ Actively promote and sell products on the ecommerce platform.
▪ Planning & implement & follow up individual sale plan to meet or exceed sales targets.
▪ Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to increase average order value.
2. Customer Engagement:
▪ Respond to customer inquiries promptly and provide accurate product/ service information through all website/ call center channels.
▪ Assist customers in the order process, addressing concerns and resolving issues.
▪ Provide exceptional customer service to enhance the overall shopping experience.
▪ Contribute ideas for improving customer engagement.
3. Ecommerce website Management:
▪ Ensure product listings are accurate, up-to-date, and visually appealing.
▪ Collaborate with the merchandise team to create compelling product descriptions and visuals.
▪ Manage inventory levels and process with the fulfillment to ensure timely order processing.
4. Analytics and Reporting:
▪ Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as conversion rates, average order value, and traffic.
▪ Analyze sales data to identify trends, customer preferences, and areas for improvement.
▪ Generate regular reports for line manager to evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies and initiatives.
5. Collaboration:
▪ Work closely with the marketing, supply chain, finance, accountant departments.
▪ Update & report customer feedback and suggestions for product/ service improvements with relevant departments.
