Job responsibilities:
1. Maintenance – Asset Integrity:
Secure reliability and availability of installation through establishing appropriate preventive maintenance and inspection plans that satisfy regulatory and business needs. As well as a solid Long Term Asset Planning to ensure long-term business continuity.
2. Engineering:
Manage capex plan on behalf of Site Manager (all Manufacturing). Deliver project studies, pre-projects and capital project at quality, in time and within budget.
PSM, SAQ and HSE.
Realize process safety management (PSM) leading level and secure maintaining this level. Secure Safe Work Practices at sites and contractor management according to HSE Procedure.
3. General Management:
Facilitate efficient program and project management on all M&E projects, according to AkzoNobel standards in cooperation with Market and central Akzo Nobel resources.
Realize effective Continuous improvement, focusing on total maintenance costs, OEE, efficiency of work processes.
Secure a risk based spare parts position and asset configuration.
Ensure an Up-to-date technical archive.
Secure close cooperation between Maintenance, engineering and other departments.
4. People Management:
Ensure proper staffing, (functionally) lead, coach, appraise and develop maintenance technicians, operators, and staff as appropriate.
Secures outsourcing to designated third party provider as needed and manages third party providers while on site.
Job Requirement
Education & Experiences:
University or master degree, mechanical or electrical Engineering are preferred.
Good at word, excel, power point, AutoCAD.
5-7 Years experience in similar position at a manufacturing company.
Experience in continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, TPM.
Leadership:
Confident and experienced in coaching others.
Good team player, knows how to build his/her own network.
Prior line management or team leader experience; knows how to use the skills and knowledge of the team to design and implement solutions.
Experience with practical implementation of change programs a plus.
Solid project and stakeholder management experience.
Able to multi-task in high-pressure environments.
Excellent communication, presentation and conflict resolution skills on all organizational levels; ability to gain respect and trust through situational leadership and integrity and inspire others to follow and participate in the change process.
General:
Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
Strong computer skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, SharePoint).
May require some travel.
