The Key Account Leader / Sales Leader will be responsible for leading a team focused on key customer accounts, developing and executing sales strategies, managing high-value customer relationships, and optimizing sales operations in the furniture industry. This role requires strong leadership, in-depth industry knowledge, and a track record of successfully managing key accounts and driving revenue growth.
1. Sales & Business Development
Lead and guide the Key Account Sales team to meet business targets.
Develop and implement strategic sales plans for furniture categories (indoor & outdoor furniture, decorative home accessories, etc.).
Manage and monitor customer orders, ensuring alignment with expectations and timelines.
Maintain strong, long-term relationships with strategic clients.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and growth areas.
Identify and convert new business opportunities, with a focus on key accounts.
2. Account & Vendor Management
Coordinate with internal departments to oversee production, logistics, and delivery schedules.
Monitor order fulfillment and ensure product quality and on-time delivery.
Collaborate with suppliers and factories to assess and align production capacity.
3. Pricing & Quotation
Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts while ensuring profitability and competitiveness.
Work closely with costing and technical teams to prepare accurate quotations for customers.
4. Market & Industry Insights
Stay informed about industry trends, pricing fluctuations, and competitor activities.
Recommend cost-saving initiatives and improvements to product positioning.
5. Cross-functional Collaboration
Work closely with sourcing, merchandising, technical, finance, and logistics teams to ensure operational excellence.
Job Requirement
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Supply Chain, or a related field.
Fluent in English (required).
3–5 years of experience in furniture sales, including at least 1–2 years in a leadership or key account role.
Strong understanding of global furniture trading, negotiation tactics, and supply chain coordination.
Excellent leadership, communication, and customer relationship skills.
Proven ability to develop sales strategies and manage key customer portfolios.
Data-driven mindset with strong organizational and project management skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
