Key Responsibilities
The General Manager (GM) will be in charge of:
· Full responsibility of P&L and cash optimization to ensure that company targets and KPIs are achieved.
· Lead the sustainable expansion of the Company both nationwide and presence in all segments.
· Define and find resources to implement Company strategy.
· Lead, grow and professionalize the full organization, with a strong focus of the commercial part. Create a company culture, which enhances employees attractivity and retention.
· Develop Wine Embassy commercial strategy to create a real differentiation and positioning. Increase brand awareness along mission and value of the company.
· Professionalization, systematization and automation of our processes. Define and implement plans to enhance efficiency and reduce cost.
· Ability to perform tasks as directed by the Board of Directors.
Requirements
Education:
· Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, or related fields.
Experience:
· At least 5 years of experience in senior management, specifically in the wine industry or related sectors.
· Preference for candidates with experience in sales within the F&B (Food & Beverage) industry, especially in wine or beverage sales.
Certification:
· Having a WSET certification is a plus, with preference for Level 2 or higher, or other internationally recognized wine-related certifications.
Skills:
· Fluent in English
· Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage teams.
· Strong planning, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
· Strong communication, negotiation, and strategic relationship-building skills.
Personality:
· Strategic, creative, and decisive thinking.
· Ability to work under pressure with a focus on continuous improvement and development.
