The responsibility of a Director (in logistics industry) is typically the head of a logistics company, and is responsible for managing end-to-end operations within a business’ supply chain, and working internally with production, leadership, sales, and warehousing teams to optimise a business’ supply chain and align it with growth goals.
Responsible for building P&L and effectively managing business activities of the Executive Board and reporting to the Board of Directors.
In charge of contacting and finding customers to achieve business goals.
Manage and control daily activities (including detailed work in controlling plans, delivery schedules, grasping the general status of all customer orders).
Control customs declaration documents and payments to customers.
Manage and care for current customers and expand relationship network with new partners/customers (including transportation agents) to maintain optimal costs for the Company.
Manage operating costs within the approved budget.
Other tasks assigned by the Board of Directors.
Job Requirement
Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field.
Minimum 5-10 years of experience in managing the business model of logistics is a must
Fluency in English is a must.
Strong understanding of logistics methodologies, negotiation strategies, and supply chain management principles.
Demonstrated success in developing and executing business strategies that deliver cost savings and operational efficiencies.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
