Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking an experienced ESG Specialist to develop, implement, and manage our environmental, social, and governance strategies. The successful candidate will work across departments to ensure ESG criteria are embedded in our investment processes, products, and corporate practices.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement the bank’s ESG strategy in alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

- Identify and assess ESG risks and opportunities relevant to the bank’s operations and portfolio.

2. Policy and Frameworks:
- Develop and maintain ESG policies, frameworks, and guidelines.

- Ensure compliance with relevant ESG regulations and standards.

3. Integration:
- Integrate ESG considerations into the bank’s lending, investment, and operational activities.

- Work closely with investment teams to incorporate ESG factors into due diligence and decision-making processes.

4. Engagement and Reporting:
- Engage with stakeholders, including customers, investors, regulators, and community groups, on ESG issues.

- Prepare ESG reports and disclosures in line with global standards (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD).

5. Training and Awareness:
- Conduct training sessions to raise ESG awareness and competencies within the bank.

- Develop communication strategies to promote ESG initiatives internally and externally.

6. Performance Monitoring:
- Monitor and report on the performance of ESG initiatives.

- Use data analytics to track and report on ESG metrics and outcomes.
