Position Overview:
This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing employee training programs that foster professional growth and enhance performance. The individual in this position will ensure that all employees have the necessary skills, knowledge, and support to achieve both individual and organizational goals. Additionally, the role will manage the performance evaluation process, ensuring that performance management systems align with company objectives and contribute to overall business success. Success in this role will be measured by the effectiveness of training programs and the impact of performance management initiatives on employee development and organizational outcomes.
1. Training & Development
- Design and implement comprehensive training and development programs that improve employee skills, knowledge, and career progression, starting from the level of new hires and continuing through to leadership roles.
- Maintain training records for all employees to track development progress and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Identify training needs through regular performance reviews, employee surveys, and feedback sessions with employees and management.
- Conduct training sessions on various topics, including leadership, communication, technical skills, and compliance.
- Manage training budgets effectively, monitor the department’s training schedule to ensure training objectives are met, and lead monthly training meetings to review upcoming and completed training initiatives.
- Partner with managers to ensure that training programs align with company objectives, departmental goals, and legal requirements.
- Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance improvements to continually refine and improve programs.
- Provide regular reports and insights to senior leadership on the effectiveness of training programs and performance management initiatives.
2. Performance Management
- Develop and maintain a structured performance evaluation process, ensuring regular feedback, goal setting, and evaluations for all employees across the organization.
- Analyze performance data from evaluations and recommend improvements to enhance employee performance and support organizational success.
- Collaborate with managers to address performance issues, create improvement plans, and support employees in achieving their potential.
- Lead initiatives to identify high-potential employees and create leadership development pathways tailored to enhance their career growth.
3. Recruitment
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to meet the organization’s hiring needs.
- Collaborate with managers to design a recruitment process that assesses candidates’ qualifications, work experience, technical skills, and cultural fit for the department and company.
4. Other assignments by the Board of Directors
- Manage other duties and special projects assigned by the Board of Directors, such as cross-departmental initiatives or strategic development projects.
I. Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- At least 3 years of experience in training and development, as well as performance management.
- Proficient in performance management systems.
- Excellent organizational, adaptability, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to assess training and performance outcomes effectively.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
