Industrial Engineer

Job Description

Job purposes:

• Drive industrial engineering initiatives in all manufacturing areas.

General Duties:

• Collaboratively set up factory IE team
• Initiate standardized work sheet function / Develop Standardized work instruction sheet for novelty styles
• Initiate standardized layout for products
• Design Layout / workplace design / validate workplace designs.
• Develop skill matrix for manufacturing unit and develop training plan to align with.
• Initiate Line balancing - Yamazumi
• Follow up the first 3 days and critical operations, review capacity & Yamazumi chart, balance line to meet plan efficiency.
• Initiate QCO best practices / Involved with Product Integration Process activities
• "Lead SMV Improvement activities in manufacturing areas. (Sewing Kaizen)
• Operation method analysis - identify VA / NVA / WASTE / Manual Operation - To make ECRS"
• Set up and initiate mechanism for Bottle Neck Improvement / Capacity Improvements
• Continuous learning on new tools / knowledge based on department managers requirement

KPI of the role:

• Efficiency Improvement vs Budget / QCO 1st 3 days Efficiency Improvement / Learning curve reduction
• SMV Saving %
• Skill Development (Plan vs Actual %)

Job Requirement

• Bachelor Degree in ralated majors (Garment Technology, Industrial Engineer, Industrial System,...)
• Sewing Technical Knowledge / GSD Knowledge & Time study
• At least 3 years of experience in the similar positions in garment/ textile industry
• English communication because this position will report to an expat
• Good at data analysis and communication skills
• Learning mindset
