Designs and implements systems and equipment procedures used in manufacturing facilities. The main duties include testing and monitoring equipment, updating current system processes and conducting risk assessments.
Conduct research to develop new and improved processes for manufacturing.
Ensure processes comply with safety and quality standards.
Design and plan equipment layout.
Conduct tests and monitor the process performance throughout production.
Troubleshoot problems associated with manufacturing processes.
Perform optimization tests.
Develop routines and best practices to ensure product quality.
Develop standardized operating instructions for the upgrades process.
Estimate production costs.
Coach, mentor, and train engineers/ Internship within the Industrial Engineering team.
Conduct process study, time study, analysis and improving process efficiency and effectiveness.
Apply Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma tools throughout the manufacturing facility and process.
Support mass production, SOP, follow up OEE, scrap reduction, Productivity, break down, Machine improvement and monitoring production process to meet quality, cost and output.
