Inventory Accountant (6-months contract)

Responsibilities:
- Monitor inventory sales in transactions and propose adjustment entries when necessary.
- Calculate COGS according to accounting policy.
- Review accounting entries related to inventory movement with respective accounting subteam (PtP for sale in and Brand for sale out, OTC for B2C).
- Perform monthly reconciliation between goods movement transactions, inventory accounts and COGS.
- Develop inventory analysis reports, identify unusual movement and transactions.
- Coordinate with logistic department to monitor transfer order status.
- Develop inventory management process.
- Attend periodic stock count and perform reconciliation to system.
- Coordinate with external auditors related to Inventory and COGs .
- Provide recommendations to inventory management process and support the transition to ERP.
- Become a team member of Inventory project (GIT)
- Ad-hoc from SAM assignments.
Requirements:
1. Education background requirements:
- Degree qualified in Finance and Accounting area. Completion or partial completion of professional accounting qualifications (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW) is a plus.
2. Experience/Industry requirements:
- Good people leadership and ability to cooperate smoothly with other teams.
- Keen to drive changes via automation and system integrations to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Ability to effectively make decisions with limited time and information.
- Achieve results through influence, persuasion, collaboration, and relationship building.
- Strong Microsoft Office skill, especially Excel. Experience in dealing with large volume data.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience.
- Experience using NetSuite accounting software is a plus.
- Be careful and honest.
- Ability to work under pressure and independently.
