IT Infrastructure Leader

Job Description

JOB PURPOSE:

• System Monitoring to ensure IT service and operation smoothly and stability.
• Improve, upgrade, and optimize the network system to satisfy current and future requirement

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

A. Build, Manage, Operate, and Maintain Overall System Stability:

• Build, manage, operate, and maintain all IT-related infrastructure systems of the company (DC, DR, HO) which based on Hybrid enviroment (On-Prem and On-Cloud).

• Ensure that all requirements for data backup and recovery for all service systems and multi-platform applications are met.

• Coordinate with the related team to build environments and support projects as required.

• Plan the deployment, configuration, installation, maintenance, upkeep, backup, recovery, and periodic testing for the entire system.

• Ensure that all service systems operate stably, with contingency plans and backup scenarios always in place, and minimize service downtime in the event of an interruption.

• Ensure that IT policy requirements are implemented and applied throughout the system, especially those related to availability, scalability, and information security.

• Coordinate with other team members within the Department and Division, as well as with IT Service Providers, to handle system-wide incidents.

B. Support Projects, Users, and General Activities:

• Assist in evaluating and testing third-party systems and application software.

• Test and evaluate new technologies.

• Install servers and application software, and hand them over to projects or users.

• Assist in handling IT-related incidents.

• Support other Departments in evaluating and selecting devices and vendors related to the procurement of IT equipment and services.

• Participate in writing internal training documentation and training new staff.

• Advise Department Heads and Division Leaders on IT-related solutions.

C. General Responsibilities:

• Participate in developing and adhering to the IT operation policies, regulations, rules, and guidelines issued by the Division and the Company, as well as comply with legal requirements.

• Actively collaborate with Departments within the Division and the Company.

• Perform other tasks as assigned by Division, Department.

D. Knowledge:

• General knowledge of the fields in server systems, network systems, operating systems (Windows, Linux), databases, virtualization, cloud computing, security

• Proficient and good knowledge in manage, configure difference technology/devices with Cisco Nexus Core, Next-gen Firewall, Load balancer, DHCP, DNS, NAT, VPN, Wifi Enterprice, Anti-malware, NAS/SAN, Logging and Monitoring & Alert…

• Experience with Ansible, Terraform, CI/CD pipeline is an advantage.

• Experience in deploying and administering systems on AWS, Azure or Private Cloud; Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker is an advantage.

Job Requirement

A. Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Telecommunications, or Computer Science. 

B. Experience:

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in IT system, network and infrastructure On-Prem/Pn-Cloud administration.  

• At least 1-2 years of experience as a team leader or technical team manager. 

• Ability to read and understand IT technical documentation in English, and to communicate with partners' technical teams in English via email/chat as needed. 

C. Certification:

• At least one of the following international certifications: CCNA/CCNP, MCSA/MCSE, RHCSA/RHCSE, Azure Administrator, AWS SysOps, AWS Solutions Architect, CKA, Terraform Associate
