Job Description

Advise the Board of Directors, Management Board, and Head of Departments on statutory requirements and relevant rules and regulations issued by the relevant authorities
Maintain statutory records of the Company that comply with statutory requirements
Attend to the necessary to assist the Management Board in their compliance of the relevant statutory requirements
Prepare and/or review Board of Directors and General Shareholders Meeting's minutes and resolutions of the Company
Attend Board of Directors, Inspection Committee and General Shareholders Meeting's minutes of the Company
Draft contractual documents for the subsidiaries, associates and other divisions of the Company
Vet contractual documents drafted by the departments and associates for legal compliance and commercial implications
Liaise with external law firms and vet documentation prepared by them, for complicated matters
Handle all claims of the group and depending on the complexity of such matters, liaise with the external lawyers and all relevant parties to ensure that the claims are resolved to the best possible advantage of the group
Advise on any legal or contractual matters which may arise
To ensure compliance of the Company with all statutory requirements and guidelines issued by relevant authorities governing public listed Company
Advise and inform the Management Board of any changes in any statutory positions and compliance thereof
Manage and coordinate the work of department staff to align with the requirements of other departments
Training/Cross training for team member
To comply and adhere to all matters pertaining to Quality, Safety, Health, Environment related to the job scope and work place as required by the Company
Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by Head of Legal and the Management Board

Job Requirement

Bachelor’s degree in Law or equivalent
Minimum 10 years-experience working in Real Estates Developer, Construction, MNC
Must be strong legal experience in Corporate, Commercial, M&A in residential
Specific skills / abilities required: Communication, Critical thinking, logical thinking, collaborative
Personal qualities: Reliable, honest, responsible
Proficiency in English both verbal & writing skill
