Job Description
Summary:
- Performing Call-Offs from external suppliers acc. defined contracts
- Steering and monitoring of external supplies in terms of delivery dates & quantities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Purchase goods, materials, components or services in line with specified cost, quality and delivery targets, prepare reports and updates as and when
- required
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery, Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices
- Negotiate contracts, improve prices and terms of business with local suppliers and review opportunities to make business savings utilising negotiation
- Ensure compliance to company guidelines, purchasing policies and procedures during supplier negotiations and contracts award process
- Conduct research for new components and suppliers
- Assess and evaluate suppliers and contribute to performance reviews to ensure contract compliance
- Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed
