As the Maintenance Manager, you will oversee all installation, repair, and maintenance operations within the plant. A successful Maintenance Manager will have expertise in plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and other crafts. Additionally, administrative tasks such as reporting and budgeting are essential for this role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop Maintenance Procedures: Create and implement maintenance procedures to optimize efficiency and continuous improvement of production methods, labor, energy, and equipment.
Facility Inspections and Issue Resolution:
o Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and resolve maintenance issues promptly.
o Check electrical and hydraulic systems of buildings to ensure functionality.
Repair and Installation Oversight: Plan and oversee repair and installation activities, coordinating with maintenance team.
Workload Allocation and Supervision: Allocate workload to upkeep and supervise their work.
Inventory Management and Budget Control:
o Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary.
o Keep track of maintenance expenses and control the budget.
Maintenance Logs and Reporting: Maintain detailed maintenance logs and report on daily activities.
Safety at workplace: Ensuring ofi’s safety policies are implemented and workforce is kept safe all the time.
Undertake any other activity as reasonably requested by management.
Job Requirement
Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or in another managerial role.
Experience in running/ maintaining packing lines Or running the production on these lines with a manufacturing company Or manufacturing of these lines (with an OEM).
MUST have proven ability to interact with all stakeholders as a team player.
Experience in driving strategic goals for production as well as overseeing daily operational activities to ensure stability and efficiency in all steps delivering consistently meeting customer requirements.
A proven people leader utilizing coaching and training tools to energize, motivate and lead a workforce utilizing HR interventions when required within the operations.
