JOB SUMMARY

ME Project Engineer is responsible for leading and executing manufacturing engineering projects to improve production efficiency, product quality, and cost-effectiveness. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to support new product development (NPD), process optimization, and the development of robust manufacturing solutions for outdoor equipment and tool

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES

• Lead and manage manufacturing projects related to outdoor products, from prototype to mass production
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables while ensuring cost-effective production
• Work with suppliers and vendors to design high-quality equipment/machines/fixtures
• Work closely with NPI, IE, production, quality, and US teams to support New Product - Development (NPD) and ensure a smooth transition from design to manufacturing
• Conduct process analysis, time studies, and failure mode analysis (FMEA) to identify and implement improvements
• Implement Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and automation techniques to enhance efficiency
• Troubleshoot manufacturing and assembly issues and provide solutions to enhance production reliability.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards, especially for durable, weather-resistant products
• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for outdoor power tools.
• Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and best practices

Job Requirement

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical, Electronic Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related major

- Fluent communication in English

- Experience: 3+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or NPD, preferably in electronic manufacturers

- Knowledge: Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process optimization

- Other Abilities:

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a proactive approach to troubleshooting production challenges.

Excellent communication and project management skills. Ability to travel to suppliers, factories, or field sites as needed.
