1. Make material plan according to production plan.
When receive a SO to release WO WFRP, Materials Planner should then create the Materials Report (Volume) base on BOM and materials non-allocated quantity (special is Veneer and woods)
When release WO, COM1 materials should be ready and COM2/Carcass material should be arrange to order then they need to be ready prior starting carcass process
When COM1 or Carcass complete the item, Materials Planner will then close the WO to release the materials allocation and clear the Outstanding for each division (COM1/Carcass)
2.Make Material Forecast, Material Monthly Plan
There are 2 exbihtion in a year (Apr and Oct), Materials Planner will then make the forecast materials report base on the potential item can be sold, then get BOD approval to order in advance (special is Veneer and woods)
3.Working with PPC team and production to know the daily actual status of production and scheduling material delivery
4.Analyzing the actual consumption in latest months to calculate the monthly average consumption
5.Combining all above information to determine quantity to purchase & logical delivery schedule in order to save the capital, ordering cost, inventory holding cost & warehouse space
6.After getting material need to place order, checking with supplier about capacity/payment term/delivery to select the best supplier then send PO for approval to release PO to supplier.
7.Tracking strictly with supplier to make sure material delivery ontime
Arrange with QC for inspection at supplier if any.
Collect relevant delivery document and sending to Accounting for payment.
8.Make report
Prepare scheduled reports on time, and required report quickly.
Closing WO analysis monthly.
Make ageing report monthly to analyse and get solution to clear material stock long time.
In emergency case, update and report right after happen things to Manager to solve.
Other tasks assigned by Manager (if have).
Job Requirement
At least 03 year experience in a similar position and have knowledge about materials and supplier of Furniture.
Previous experience of working in manufacturing company with over 1,000 employees, furniture industry is a plus.
Knowledgeable about furniture making processes
Good management skill (planning, organizing, Problem Solving, communication skill, negotiation skill and Continual Self-Learning)
