SUMMARY

  • Job Title: Medical Advisor
  • Work Experience: At least 1 year experience as Medical Advisor or other equivalent role(s) in medical function of healthcare/pharmaceutical company and 2-year experience in pediatrics.
  • Location: Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam
  • Academic Qualification: Medical doctor/ Pharmacist background

ROLE

The Medical Advisor will be responsible for performing medical affairs activities in assigned therapeutic areas. The primary duty is to contribute to medical strategy for different portfolios/products of Commercial team as well as scientific collaboration with healthcare professionals/healthcare organizations to assist Commercial team and Account team with various scientific activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Contribution in Medical Strategy Development:

  • Support in building medical strategy for relevant portfolios/ products of Commercial team to ensure high-quality medical deliverables.
  • Periodically update medical plan to reflect changes of the market landscape and important business strategy changes if appropriate.

Scientific Stakeholders Management:

  • Build and maintain good relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and Medical associations and Hospitals
  • Medical Information and Communication: Ensure high quality scientific communication with KOLs. Respond to medical inquiries from healthcare professionals and ensure accurate and timely dissemination of medical information.
  • Support in performing scientific activities in assigned therapeutic areas of Commercial team and Account team.

Training and Development:

  • Support in developing scientific materials to Commercial team, including portfolio/product master slide decks, active substance scientific materials, etc.
  • Stay updated with continuous medical education and ensure all teams are informed of the latest developments in the field.

Regulatory and Compliance:

  • Ensure all medical activities comply with local and national regulation

Job Requirement

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven ability in building relationship with KOLs/healthcare organizations, excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to work cross-functionally and lead initiatives

  • Proficient in scientific literature analysis 

  • Self-learning and adaptability in dynamic environment 

  • Excellent time management

  • Professional English Proficiency
