Job Purpose
The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) Manager acts as the strategic bridge between Diag’s medical expertise and the external healthcare community. This role leads medical-scientific engagement with key opinion leaders (KOLs), healthcare partners, and scientific stakeholders to support evidence-based practice, strengthen Diag’s clinical credibility, and advance diagnostic education within the market.
The MSL Manager oversees the Medical Affairs scientific agenda, disseminates clinical insights, supports clinical training, and ensures medical accuracy in all scientific communication and collaborations.
Key Responsibilities
A. Scientific Engagement & KOL Management
Develop and execute KOL engagement strategy across relevant specialties (e.g., pathology, endocrinology, infectious diseases, oncology, primary care).
Build strong relationships with leading physicians, medical societies, hospitals, and clinics.
Organize scientific discussions, advisory boards, roundtables, and expert panels.
Provide medical-scientific support for partnership development and B2B collaborations.
B. Medical Education & Scientific Communication
Lead the creation and delivery of medical education programs, including webinars, CME sessions, workshops, and on-site training for clinicians.
Present scientific data related to diagnostics, laboratory technology, screening programs, and disease management.
Ensure consistent, evidence-based messaging across internal and external communication.
C. Cross-functional Support
Support Marketing with medical accuracy for campaigns, product claims, and patient education materials.
Work with Operations and Lab teams to understand capabilities, quality standards, and scientific updates.
Collaborate with Product teams for new test/menu introductions, including medical rationale, positioning, and clinical value.
D. Clinical Insights & Evidence Generation
Collect, analyze, and disseminate clinical insights from KOL interactions, market trends, and scientific publications.
Identify unmet clinical needs and recommend opportunities to enhance Diag’s test portfolio.
Support development of clinical evidence, case studies, white papers, and publications.
E. Internal Training & Medical Governance
Provide scientific training for Sales, Marketing, and Customer Care teams to enhance clinical understanding and communication.
Ensure compliance with medical, ethical, and regulatory standards in all scientific activities.
Serve as internal medical advisor for complex cases or clinician inquiries.
