Job Description

  • Working closely with our Buyers and suppliers.
  • Be an Excel expert and use it to build and update reporting
  • Build and use inventory reports to proactively identify potential stock-out issues
  • Supply product insights and assortment direction to the Buying team based on product performance, market trend and consumer behaviour
  • Develop and maintain Weekly Reports published to Senior Management
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis based on Sales Performance within categories
  • Perform SKU level inventory analysis (sales forecast and inventory accuracy)
  • Collaborate with Buying and Marketing Team to drive promotions and marketing campaigns
  • Consult with other departments on process improvement, system design, and projects as required.

Job Requirement

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Excel; experience with complex equations, Macros, Pivot Tables/Charts, Excel Power Query and VBA
  • 3 - 5 years’ experience in a merchandise planning role for apparel and footwear
  • Experience with Excel Power Pivot or other BI tools is a plus
  • Experience with cross functional teams such as merchandising, marketing, warehousing, and finance

Competencies:

  • Strong computer skills are needed; including ability in Microsoft Office Suite; Word, Power Point, Excel and Outlook
  • Knowledge of demand, supply, and merchandise planning fundamentals
  • Knowledge of the e-commerce and/or retail space
  • A natural and analytical problem solver
  • You understand the value of being proactive and solution-oriented
  • Ability to sort through large sources of information, find patterns and abnormalities
  • Ability to handle a dynamic work environment with competing priorities
  • Drive for process improvement & ability to perform root cause analysis
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced start-up environment
  • Strong time management skills to meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to interact and work collaboratively cross-functionally and within different verticals
