OHSO are required to have good knowledge of the OHS process, be proactive in updating the latest health and safety information and be able to implement them into practice This role also requires strong communication skills to ensure the transmission of information to all levels of the organization and pay attention to detail to ensure accuracy in reports and figures.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Support in the development of OHS policies, procedures, and related forms
• Conduct safety-risk assessments and enforce preventive measures.
• Ensure that all OHS policies, rules, and regulations are adhered to and are regularly reviewed, updated, and communicated.
• Manage and supervise fire prevention: support implementation of fire prevention and fighting training and practices, oversee installations, maintenance of equipment under safety standards.
• Initiate and organize OHS training programs for employees.
• Ensure and promote staff healthcare: manage medical equipment, participate in preliminary work, staff health checking-up, propose options to improve staff health – physically and mentally.
• Act as one of the main contacts of disease-related issues: record, respond, and handle suspected cases; guide and answer questions about disease prevention and control.
• Coordinate with relevant departments in implementing the Return to Office Plan.
• Record and investigate incidents to determine the causes, and how they might be prevented and solved.
• Prepare reports, and minutes of OHS and provide statistical information to upper management/government agencies.
• Other tasks as assigned.
Job Requirement
REQUIREMENTS
• University or College degree
• English level (CEFR) B1 or equivalent
• Proven at least 2-year experience in the OHS field.
• Knowledge of legislation and procedures related to OHS.
• Experience in writing reports and policies for health and safety
• Demonstrated internal customer service insights including the implementation of employee satisfaction charters.
• Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws & regulations
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
