WHAT YOU’LL DO:
1. Team Leadership:
- Directly manage and mentor operational accounting leads across the group of companies
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the accounting team
- Prepare monthly accounting closure process and do trainings to all operational accounting groups
- Prepare accounting rule manuals and do trainings to all operational accounting groups
2. Financial Oversights:
- Oversee the preparation and consolidation of financial statements for all entities within the group
- In-charge of management reports for investment projects of the group
- Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
3. Cost Management
- Monitor and analyze operational costs across the group, implementing cost control measures to enhance profitability
- Work with operational teams to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements
4. Compliance and Audit
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies across all entities
- Coordinate and support internal and external audit processes for the group
5. Financial Analysis and Reporting
- Conduct variance analysis and financial performance reviews, providing insights to senior management
- Prepare reports that summarize financial status and highlight key trends across the group
6. Budgeting and Forecasting
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting process for the operational accounting functions of the group
- Monitor performance against budgets and provide strategic recommendations
7. System Oversight
- Oversee the implementation and management of accounting systems and software across the group
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data within these systems
8. Stakeholder Collaboration
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and executive management to align financial strategies with overall business objectives
- Communicate financial insights and operational challenges clearly to stakeholders
9. Process Improvement
- Identify and implement process improvements in operational accounting practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes
10. Other ad-hoc reports requested by Head of Operational Accounting
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of operational accounting experience, preferably in the F&B, retail or hospitality industry.
- At least 3 years in management role.
- Advanced competency in MS Office and Accounting software packages, have knowledge of ERP is preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Leadership abilities with a focus on team management and meeting deadlines.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
