Production Planning Senior Staff (label, packaging, garment, footwear)

Job Description

Support the enhancement of production planning across all manufacturing activities related to films, tapes, and labels. This involves inputting, scheduling, and organizing production orders, tracking progress, and coordinating with various departments to optimize resource allocation and material management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate data entry and processing of production orders for semi-finished products (film) as well as their conversion into finished goods.
• Monitor production progress and, when necessary, propose procurement requests to the appropriate manager to meet ongoing order demands, while also consulting with production operators.
• Oversee production activities for semi-finished products (film), ensuring execution aligns with the planned schedule from initiation to warehouse storage.
• Track and update production status regularly.
• Plan and coordinate both sample runs and large-scale production.
• Generate new item codes, define production workflows, and establish Bills of Materials (BOM) within the ERP system.
• Create production work orders, coordinate schedules, assign resources effectively, and ensure on-time completion of production targets.
• Link production orders with raw material requirements and initiate material requisitions from the warehouse.

Job Requirement

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: Minimum requirement of a high school diploma; an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Experience: At least 5 years in a manufacturing environment, particularly in production planning or scheduling roles.

Skills & Competencies:

• Proficiency in production management software (e.g., SAP, SAM FRAMNET).
• Strong understanding of inventory control and production scheduling.
• Ability to analyze data and generate reports for decision-making.
• Familiarity with supply chain management principles.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills for clear instructions and reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address challenges and implement solutions.
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is mandatory
