- Sourcing materials, toolings or services at most effective cost and deals including local and overseas.
- Summarize list of materials per project and obtain quotation from oversea factory.
- Create item codes for materials and tools in SAP
- Create Purchase order/contract and place order to oversea factory for products, materials, spare parts and tools.
- Keep tracking factory lead time, make forecast of delivery time to production, warehouse, sale team and ensure timely delivery of the shipments.
- Define HS code for materials, spare parts, tools, products for customs clearance
- Coordinate with logistics agent to complete customs clearance for import export shipments
- Check debit note, follow due date and prepare payment request to shipping line, logistics agent and suppliers.
- Conduct market research to keep update price of materials, products
- Establish and maintain good relationship with vendors, suppliers
- Update and maintain records of all orders, payments, follow order cycle in SAP
- Weekly report on delivery progress of the orders
- Perform other tasks assgined by the Mananger
Graduate from University/College in business, logistics or related field
- Has at least 2 years experience in import-export and customs procedures, espcially oversea purchasing.
- Good knowdlege of incoterms and customs procedures for import export shipments.
- Be able to communicate in English in writing and oral skill at acceptable level
- Be able to work under high pressure, team work, excellent networking and time management skills
- Be familiar with SAP pratice, Power Point, Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, project timeline.
