Primary Objective:
Monitor operation of GB store chains and support for opening new stores
Key Activities:
1. Type 1 : Directly Monitor and Handle all GB stores (Store manager function)
2. Type 2 : Support the store by creating and updating rules, mechanisms, and educational systems (Store Operation department function)
3. As an MDOP integrated business, cooperate with each other and solve problems in cooperation with related departments.
Roles and responsibilities:
List in order of importance the major responsibilities of the job and estimate the percentage of time spent on each responsibility (the main function of the job may or may not be the one where the most time is spent).
1. Monitor the Operation of all GB stores (40%)
Find out and propose for solving issues, including sales/GP/ TOD improvement by below:
• Go to stores for checking the situation and support for store operation, ensuring the Store follow concept properly;
• Cooperate with GB’s Division Leader / Group Leader/ Supervisor for information sharing, inventory managing (Transfering, Ordering, PA0)
• Coordinate with GB’s Supervisor for checking the situation of Project;
• Inform all the information and promotion from MD to store operation, follow up the application of all stores and report to MD;
• Work with related departments (IC/IT/ID/ACCT/Legal...) to solve OPR matters if any
• Make monthly/ promotion result report
2. Improvement / Renovation / Innovation (30%)
• Improve/innovate Operation by creating and updating rules, mechanisms, and educational systems.
• Manage and develop staff by training, mentoring, coaching.
• Following new concept, support making layout, regulation, enviroment, assorment.
• Propose new promotion to MD.
• Check Operation expenses and propose expenses improvement. Support making P&L
3. Complete Opening new GB stores (20%)
• Support to make layout, set up fit-out, fixture, display, facilities and systems
• Coordinate with Store Operation team for training operation/ Cashier & CS/ MMD skill and product knowledge for new staff.
• Support for operation before and during the opening period.
• Coordinate with related departments (HR, IT, ID,…) for related matters
• Arrange supporter from other Department to support merchandise displaying.
4. Other duties (10%)
• Manage Skill Test program in coordination with Trainer, MD, Academy...
• Check promotion/event at stores: display, implementation,… etc
• Arrange for payment to suppliers/ landlord
• Ensure stationery and material for stores
• Other tasks assigned by GB Operation Manager / General Manager
• This job description will be reviewed yearly to adapt with business’ demand
1. Bachelor/College degree in Economic, business administration or equivalent qualifications
2. At least 3 years of experience in retail business. 2 years at Supervisor level
3. Customer-oriented mindset
4. Customer-focused / Customer Oriented mind set
5. Good communication skill
6. Good command of verbal and written English
7. Time-management and team work skills
8. Abilities to use computer, office programs and database
