Reserch Management Officer

Job Description

The duties and responsibilities of Research Management Officer include but is not limited to:

• Consulting and monitoring the research projects at ministerial and university-levels;
• Seeking research funding agencies for VGU researchers and students;
• Providing consulting and updating on legal processes and regulations for researchers;
• Developing and improving procedures for management of scientific research projects;
• Preparing reports, statistics and drafting documents;
• Updating research database;
• Supporting the Department in organizing the seminars/ workshops/conference.

Job Requirement

1. Qualification: Master degree is preferable. 

2. Experiences: 

• Previous experience in research projects and educational environment
• Be experienced with all types of award mechanisms, including grants, contracts, subcontracts, and cooperative agreements

3. Knowledge:

• Knowledge and ability in setting up and implementing new processes and regulations
• Knowledge on project proposals and managements
• Knowledge on event organizing

4. Skills

• Good communication both in written and orally
• Good proficiency in English both in written and orally
• Good management skills
• Creative, initiative, can-do attitude
• Be able to work efficiently, independent and self-organized
