Job Summary: Responsible for evaluating and analyzing risks associated with the operation of steam turbines, gas turbines, hydrogen systems, and boilers. This role includes developing and implementing safety procedures, standards, and work guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. The Safety Engineer will also conduct training, inspections, and provide reports on safety performance in manufacturing and operational activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and analyze risks related to the operation of steam turbines, gas turbines, hydrogen systems, and boilers.
Develop and implement safety procedures, standards, and work instructions to ensure workplace safety.
Conduct safety training programs for employees related to turbine and hydrogen systems.
Perform regular safety inspections, monitoring, and reporting on safety performance during manufacturing and operational activities.
Work with relevant departments to ensure compliance with safety regulations and improve safety practices.
Investigate accidents, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
Ensure the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety tools.
Stay up to date with the latest safety standards, technologies, and regulations.
Job Requirement
Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Management, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience in industrial safety, with a preference for knowledge of turbine systems, hydrogen, boilers, and oil & gas industries.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate and mitigate risks effectively.
Ability to solve safety-related problems and implement effective solutions.
Safety certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, ATEX, PED) are an advantage.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to deliver training.
Proactive attitude and attention to detail.
