· Update the price list on the system.
· Rate quotation.
· Negotiate rate/space with shipping lines and match with customer needs.
· Coordinate with CS and Booking to ensure space.
· Checking contract & update rate sheet for both internal & external.
· Keep in touch with carrier, NVOCC, co-loader, agency.
· Creating a good relationship with shipping lines.
· Check mail and reply to customer emails, support customers to answer questions, update information and solve price problems related to shipments.
· Support customer service in customer query resolution and exception handling
· Send accurate information to Operation department to make correct and timely documents for the shipment, avoiding delay or incorrect information leading to additional costs.
· Work closely with pricing global team for market situation, fast reaction for market change and provide solution when requires.
· Regularly proactively update information about prices and spaces from shipping lines and make reports for direct managers to control and update ships/space/price.
· Maintain and build relationships with shipping lines and professional image with customers, cooperate & support other departments.
· Manage the team of 1+ including training, coaching, and encourage team member for work efficiently.
· Review/ keep update on all Policies/ SOPs and instruct clearly to the team. Make sure Policies/ SOPs will be followed under strict discipline.
· Pro-actively provide ideas/ solution to develop the process/ performance of the team.
· Report to manager or upper level when required.
· Having 05 years in of forwarding logistics companies and 02 years working experience in the same position (Or Customer Service/ Sale Support)
· Experienced in dealing/ working with shipping lines
· Comprehensive knowledge of Sea Freight and Pricing.
· Effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results.
· English skills/ Negotiation skills/ Problem solving skills.
· Good Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, power point etc.)
· Graduated from Supply Chain, Logistics, Transportation Management, Business or other related discipline.
