Senior Buyer

Job Description

• Purchasing interface into NPI projects to manage all relevant Purchasing KPIs, such as component target pricing, supplier sourcing, tooling kick-off and PPAP etc.
• Participates and represents Purchasing in MGRs and presents status on all MGR levels, take ownership on the purchase tasks.
• Purchasing interface in serial phase to manage relevant serial Purchasing KPIs, such as supplier QCD issues. And main interface for operational plant when there are supplier related issues to Logistics, Quality and Finance.
• Drive Psave activities in plant, support global Psave target implementation. Supports global CMTY buyers by local Focus activities in case CMTY specific footprint is regional
• Manages Purchase orders (Serial BPOs and Spot POs) and other operational purchase activities as requested by the business.

Job Requirement

·       Recognized bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain or related discipline.

·       8 years and above working experience in automotive MNC and experience on electronics and mechanical parts

·       Solid knowledge on Automotive product & process assessment and project management, Seating is a plus.

·       Excellent English verbal and written communication skills,

·       Strong analytical mind and interpersonal skills;

·       Familiar with should cost methodology and process.

·       Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
