The role involves overseeing customs processes for imported and exported goods, ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining accurate records. Responsibilities include managing HS codes, verifying certificates of origin, monitoring customs fees, and supporting internal teams to ensure smooth import/export operations. The position requires a proactive approach to customs reporting, tracking payments, and resolving issues.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle customs declarations for various goods (materials, finished products, equipment, etc.).
Apply and verify HS codes for imports/exports.
Verify Certificates of Origin (CO) for imported goods.
Monitor and issue forest reports and update customs regulations.
Advise internal departments on import processes and information.
Ensure timely payment of import duties and VAT.
Cross-check import data across systems, CDF, and warehouse receipts.
Ensure FTA certificates of origin are accurate for tax benefits.
Prepare import reports, customs KPIs, and statistical data.
Oversee customs fee and infrastructure fee payments.
Support team members with problem resolution.
Job Requirement
1. Education:
Graduated in University (Logistics/ Supply Chain/ Customs/ International Economics…)
2. Experience:
At least 3-5 years of relevant experiences in import export department of garment, shoes, bag, furniture companies.
3. Knowledge of:
Strong knowledge of tax policies, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
Internet, Email, Microsoft office, VNACCS, website of government.
4. Skills and Abilities:
Good communication, solving problem and import export working skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
