Quality Assurance Operations
Oversee all QA laboratory activities, including material testing, product inspections, and process audits.
Ensure compliance with internal quality standards, customer requirements, and industry regulations.
Develop and maintain lab testing procedures and protocols to ensure consistent and accurate results.
Leadership and Team Management
Supervise and provide guidance to the QA lab team, including training, performance evaluation, and workload management.
Foster a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement among team members.
Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, address challenges, and align on priorities.
Continuous Improvement
Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements to enhance product quality and reduce defects.
Collaborate with production and R&D teams to address quality-related issues and develop preventive measures.
Analyze quality data to identify trends and provide actionable insights to management.
Documentation and Reporting
Maintain accurate records of lab test results, inspections, and quality-related metrics.
Prepare and present quality reports to management and external stakeholders as needed.
Ensure all documentation complies with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Safety and Compliance
Ensure the QA lab operates in a safe and organized manner, adhering to all safety protocols.
Stay updated on relevant industry standards (e.g., ISO, ASTM) and implement changes as required.
Coordinate audits and certifications related to quality and safety.
Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in QA/QC, preferably in furniture manufacturing or a related industry.
Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, testing techniques, and industry standards.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in using QA tools, statistical analysis software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead teams and collaborate with cross-functional departments.
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
