Part design review and tooling design review & approval.
Tooling schedule tracking and follow up.
Tooling trial shot witness and problems finding & solving.
Tooling injection parameter optimization.
Proficient in operating UG and making tooling structure review.
Good communication skill with project team and suppliers.
On-site verify tooling trial shot and solve trouble shooting.
This position will be based in SHTP Factory, District 9, HCMC. Shuttle bus from District 1,10,7,11,12,Hoc Moc, Go Vap, BInh Thanh, Thu Duc/Binh Duong/Dong Nai is available.
Job Requirement
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Machine Manufacturing Technology,
6 years or above relevant experience in injection molding or/and die casting molding
Wealthy experience in plastic or/and die-casting material properties.
Experience in molding structure such as: cold/hot runner, cavities, runner, and gate type…
Good knowledge about the technology of manufacturing mold such as: CNC milling, turning, EDM, grinding…etc.
Can design 2D/3D the complex mold by using NX, Creo Parametric…etc including over-mold, insert mold, mold with complex slider/lifter, unscrew…etc.
Have knowledge of hot runner with multi-slide blocks.
Experience about DFM for plastic or/and die-casting product.
Excellent experience on optimization the mold design to reduce the injection cycle time and use the proper machine size to control the part cost.
Can analyze the product design issues that may impact the mold fabrication, mold life and may cause the molding issues, and optimize the design accordingly.
Be able to analyze dimension chain, well understand GD&T.
Excellent ability on tooling project management. Be sensitive on the potential schedule and technical risk. Get problems solved it in time
Good English written and speaking
Good communication, listening and interpersonal skills.
Able to work effectively. A self-starter with an approach. Eager to drive key initiatives and see them through to successful implementation.
Good knowledge of molding steel properties, material types.
Be familiar with UG (NX) / AutoCAD / PowerPoint / Moldflow /Magma/
