SQE Engineer / Senior Engineer - Work at Long Thành (Đồng Nai)

Job Description

SQE should be a good leader new floorcare product qualification process in terms of qualification testing, assist supplier to prepare for quality manufacturing, quality product files and records keeping.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Follow up new products qualification testing according to test plan

• Identify any potential product quality issue with engineering team and supplier.

• Follow up with supplier on outstanding process control issue.

• Maintain product file and quality record for the new product.

• Develop IPQC and pre-shipment inspection standards.

• Follow up new products pilot run and work with other team members to resolve any quality issues.

• Develop Process Quality Control Plan with supplier.

• Prepare Quality Issue Tracker List for NPI Builds.

• Prepare PPAP package for customers

• Assist to review Engineering Change issue from quality point of view.

• Manage the process of Supplier Management, ensure suppliers provide expected quality products and services as well as help them self-develop.

• Set up proper processes for SQE but not limited to Visual inspection standards, supplier control plan, sampling plan, non-conforming material disposition, supplier scoring system (DPPM, Line Return Rate, Scorecard), etc. Maintain and optimize SQE management system (SOP, OI / WI) according to ISO9001.

• Oversee the implementation of the Visual Inspection Standard by training Assistant Team Leaders, Supplier Quality Auditors, Supplier's inspectors and Supplier’s process operators.

• Develop Test methods at suppliers for specific quality and engineering requirements. • Work closely with suppliers and ensure quick investigation and effective Corrective / Preventive Actions / 8D are in place. Perform audits to qualify the new and existing suppliers.

• Provide Technical support and training in developing supplier process controls and inspection standards e.g. gauges, inspection fixtures, poka yoke fixtures, cooling (process) fixtures

• Issue ECR based on insufficient specification or specification errors

• Provide training to suppliers and inspectors on component quality and engineering requirements.

Job Requirement

• University Degree (or above) in quality / mechanical/ electrical engineering
• 5 years relevant experience with good knowledge on manufacturing and quality engineering.
• Strong sense of quality and responsibility. Good knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices. Good knowledge of ISO9001 system. Knowledgeable in IATF16949 is an advantage.
• Background in APQP and PPAP
• Background on Design Quality Control in electrical / home appliance products would be more prefer
• Good written and spoken English skill
• Develop mechanical test methods and develop data to help formulate specification
• Work in home appliance or floorcare industry is an advantage
