Structure Engineer

Job Description

Atlas is a leading design delivery solution provider to the architecture, engineering, construction, property, and energy and resource industry providing high quality and cost effective architectural and engineering BIM modelling, documentation support, and project delivery services.

Our main operation centre is in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, with a satellite office in Manila, supported by business development, technical and project managers in the UK, Australia, New Zealand and Asia. Our extensive project experience also includes the Middle East, Japan and North America.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

• ​Develop detailed structural construction drawings, including design, modeling, and documentation for small to medium-sized projects.

• Assist senior team members in large-scale projects.

• Utilize BIM tools such as Revit and Tekla to create accurate 3D models and manage construction documentation.

• Ensure compliance with relevant structural codes, standards, and project specifications.

• Optimize workflows with BIM tools and proactively apply AI to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

• Collaborate closely with project teams to ensure seamless integration of structural design elements.

• Support project execution by performing additional tasks as required.

Job Requirement

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience

• B.Sc., or above in Structural Engineering, or a related field

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in structural modeling and documentation.

• Familiarity with small to medium-sized infrastructure projects involving structural detailing.

• Familiarity with international standards is an advantage.

• Intermediate in Revit or Tekla, AutoCAD.

• Familiarity with BIM platforms: Navisworks, BIM 360, Revizto, Trimble Connect.

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

• Excellent communication skills in both English and Vietnamese.

Other Requirements:

1. Technical Knowledge:

• Basic understanding of structural design codes and standards.

• Ability to interpret structural drawings and resolve basic issues.

• Familiarity with modeling and documentation practices.

2. Team Leadership and Collaboration:

• Willingness to take responsibility for assigned tasks.

• Ability to collaborate within a team and support senior engineers.

• Effective communication of technical details to the team.

3. Project Management

• Basic project coordination experience under supervision.

• Capable of managing deliverables and meeting deadlines for assigned tasks.

• Strong attention to detail in documentation and QA/QC compliance.

4. Client Relationship Management:

• Ability to communicate technical issues clearly to team leads.

• Willingness to support client-facing roles under supervision.
