- Plan, coordinate, and conduct supplier process audits to ensure that necessary process controls are in place during supplier assessment visits or on-going supplier management assessments.
- Understand the supplier's current capabilities and potential new capabilities in manufacturing process and communicate to purchasing, engineering, and quality personnel.
- Identify the supplier process gaps and drive process improvement as appropriate.
- Finalize and follow up the development plan by working with supplier, NPD, AQE, FAI, SDE, OPM, Sourcing and any concerned expert teams.
- Follow up on the NPD/Localization project in early stage like Design For Manufacturing Review and Critical Dimensions Assessment to have robust action to ensure a smooth transition from engineering samples to mass production.
- Maintain and update the supplier process development plan to match the new product development needs.
- Communicates difficult concepts such as process improvements and changes and negotiates with others to effectively influence as appropriate.
- Involve failure analysis and advise technical to the manufacturing team for driving effective investigation.
- Provide weekly status updates or report to the project team, or daily updates if needed.
This position will be based in SHTP, District 9, HCMC. Shuttle bus from District 1,2,7,10,11,12,Go Vap, Hoc Mon, Thu Duc/Binh Duong/Dong Nai is available.
- Bachelor Degree Degree in Mechanical, PM, Materials, Manufacturing or other related Engineering discipline or equivalent.
- Minimum 3-5 years experiences in the manufacturing process of machining, forging or hardware. With experience in manufacturing of power tool related component is preferred.

- Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) per ASME Y14.5
- Strong analytical skills, knowledge and experience in SPC, DMAIC,
PFMEA and DOE
- Knowledge in forging, investment casting, powder metal or metal
operations is preferred.
- Experience in process improvement is added advantage.
- Technical problem sloving
- Cost analysis concept
- Good communication skills and teamwork.
- Fluent in spoken and written in English (can also speaking Mandarin is advantage)
- Able to work independently, self-driving and hard-working.
- Can travel frequently domestically and internationally, sometimes on short notice.
