Job Description
1. Supply Chain Management
· Supply Chain Strategy & Planning: Develop, implement, and optimize supply chain strategies to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery of products and services.
· Vendor Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring reliable and efficient procurement of goods and services.
· Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, ensuring efficient stock management, and implement best practices for inventory control and forecasting.
· Logistics Coordination: Manage logistics operations to ensure products are transported efficiently and on time. This includes managing transportation providers and optimizing shipping routes.
· Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and train supply chain team members, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance.
· Performance Monitoring: Track key supply chain metrics (KPIs) to evaluate and improve efficiency and effectiveness across all supply chain functions.
· Cost Control: Identify areas for cost savings in the supply chain and implement strategies to minimize waste and reduce expenses.
· Risk Management: Anticipate and mitigate risks in the supply chain, ensuring continuity of operations in the face of disruptions or challenges.
· Collaboration: Work closely with other departments (e.g., sales, marketing, production) to align supply chain strategies with business goals.
2. Warehouse & Inventory Management
· Warehouse Operations Management: Oversee all warehouse activities including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods.
· Inventory Control: Ensure inventory is accurately tracked, organized, and readily available, managing stock levels and performing regular audits.
· Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with transportation and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries and proper handling of goods.
· Health & Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and warehouse best practices to ensure a safe work environment for all employees.
· Process Improvement: Identify and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize the layout of the warehouse.

· Quality Control: Ensure that all incoming and outgoing products meet quality standards, including inspection and proper handling of goods.
· Report Generation: Maintain accurate records of inventory, orders, and deliveries. Prepare reports for management to track warehouse performance and areas for improvement.
4. Production & Demand Planning
· Production Scheduling: Develop and manage production schedules based on customer demand, inventory levels, and available resources. Ensure that production deadlines are met while maintaining high efficiency.
· Resource Allocation: Coordinate with procurement, manufacturing, and logistics teams to ensure that raw materials, labor, and equipment are available for production without delays.
· Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods to ensure adequate stock and prevent overstocking or stockouts.
· Process Optimization: Analyze production processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement. Implement process changes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize capacity utilization.
· Capacity Planning: Ensure production capacity aligns with demand forecasts and adjust production schedules or resources as needed to meet changing demands.
· Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with departments such as procurement, engineering, and quality control to ensure smooth production operations.
· Forecasting and Demand Planning: Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to understand demand trends and adjust production schedules accordingly. Ensure forecasts are updated and communicated regularly.
· Performance Monitoring: Track key production metrics (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, production efficiency, and quality control. Prepare reports for management on production performance and areas for improvement.
· Problem Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve issues that may impact production schedules, such as delays in materials, equipment breakdowns, or staffing shortages.
· Cost Control: Ensure production operations are cost-effective by minimizing waste, optimizing the use of resources, and adhering to budget constraints
Develop production and demand plans based on sales forecasts and operational capacity.
· Monitor inventory turnover rates and adjust planning strategies as needed.
· Optimize materials and resource allocation to prevent shortages or overstocking.
5. Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and environmental standards in warehousing and logistics.
- Mitigate risks related to supplier performance, transportation, and inventory management.
- Maintain documentation and reporting in accordance with industry best practices.
6. Team Leadership & Stakeholder Collaboration
- Lead and develop warehouse, logistics, and supply chain teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with internal departments, including sales, production, finance, and procurement.
- Provide insights and reports to senior management on supply chain performance and improvement plans.
· Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) , including inventory accuracy, order fulfillment speed, and labor productivity.
Job Requirement
· Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related field.
· Extensive experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse management, and planning.
· Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle), inventory management tools, and logistics platforms.
· Strong problem-solving, forecasting, and data analysis capabilities.
· Ability to manage teams, drive process improvements, and collaborate across departments.
· Understanding of safety, regulatory, and environmental standards in logistics and warehousing.
