Job requirement:
1. Prior to aircraft arrival.
(a) CRS staff shall check messages for changes impacting the estimated aircraft arrival time, aircraft technical status, scheduled work, required equipment, etc., Confirm receiving of above mentioned information.
(b) Prepare required documentation, tools and equipment, consumable material, etc.
(c) Brief assigned technicians about aircraft status and assigning specific duties.
2. After aircraft arrival;
(a) Perform headset duties or other non-maintenance duties as required by contractual requirements.
(b) Meet the aircraft craft flight crew, review the aircraft technical logs and ensure all aircraft discrepancies are understood.
(c) Manage the activities of Mechanics to ensure the required maintenance and servicing is accomplished in an efficient and timely manner.
(d) Assign appropriate team members to address aircraft technical issues.
(e) Monitor and supervise Mechanic work performance ensuring regulatory, customer and airport procedures are complied with during the aircraft transit.
(f) Ensure all maintenance is properly documented in accordance with the customer requirements. Complete the necessary notations and comments on the Daily Shift and Handover Record SAAM Form 058 (DHR).
(g) Inform Customer ground staff about cabin deviations or potential delays.
3. After aircraft departure;
(a) Complete, distribute and store all documentation as required by SAAM and customer requirements.
(b) Report the departure to the customer by Telex, email or any other method of communication specified by the customer
(c)Notify the QSM when unsafe or hazardous situations have been experienced or observed.
(d) Distribute information in accordance with Communication Responsibility Matrix.
(e) Ensure the Operator Handling Form, Form SAAM-055 is completed and signed by the customer representative.
(h) Complete in as much detail as necessary a Line Job Handover Sheet, Form SAAM 057. The CRS Staff will ensure the exact last step of the work accomplished is identified.
(i) CRS staff shall raise an Inspector Handover Sheet, Form SAAM-022 for all RII or Dual Inspections Inspections started but not completed. He shall note whenever a discrepancy has been found during an RII item inspection that requires Buy Back..
(j) The incoming CRS Staff shall review the DHR and ensure he understands the status of incomplete work before the outgoing CRS Staff leaves the office.
(k) Complete the Daily Shift and Hand-over Record SAAM Form 057 (DHR) concerning work.
(h) Additional duties as assigned.
Knowledge
· Must hold CAAV, CAAS, FAA, EASA or CAAP license with hands on experience in carrying out line/base maintenance activities
· Must hold a B1, B2 authorization certificate for aircraft type rating ( A 320/321,A 330/340, A350, B 737, 747,777, 787)
. Preferable with Embraer Aircraft Rating / Experience for Phu Quoc International Airport
· University degree or equivalent. Main responsibilities include:
