Mô tả Công việc

This position demands experience in the strategic and operational execution of the annual sales plan including managing and supervising sales team and its sales units per Imperial’s properties regards targets, follow-up and forward planning. A good knowledge of the tourism DMC market and general understanding of oversea market segments is required to advise sales team members per market units. A pro-active learning attitude is required to gather market knowledge and intelligence with a year of time after start.

1. Business Planning:
· Contribute to the Imperial Group strategic and annual business plan per property

· Develop sales strategy (together with GDOS) and sales activities for Imperial market units and cascade to the team

· Plan together with personal supervisor key targets per market and oversee planned sales activities and YTD status on quantity and quality results

· Gather and analyze competitor and market intelligence

· Supervise or take part in the controlling of relevant sales topics and projects to maintain timelines. Support and monitor in improving corporate structure, processes and SOPs

2. Sales and Business Development:

· Manage the market units as well as individually assigned markets and accounts

· Support GDOS with market decision making

· Plan, manage and supervise the enrollment of sales activities and the follow-ups to ensure sales activity targets are reached on a weekly, monthly and annual basis

· Ensure a timely and quality reporting and support in the consolidation of weekly and monthly sales reports. Conduct own business development thru sales trips, Sales calls and telecalls, shows, webinars etc.

3. Marketing Reservation:

· Raise marketing opportunities thru sales activities, guide team with their market marketing topics and liaise those to marketing team

· Liaise strongly with GODS and FCG to have yield, forward revenue and occupancy monitored

4. Project Management:
· Plan, manage and monitor assigned projects are crucial for a continuous business development. Provide sales relevant input to the development of new product

5. People Management:
· Conduct daily, weekly and monthly meetings

· Motivate and inspire the direct reports to achieve company goals, team and individual targets

· Monitor performance of direct reports and improve continuously

· Conduct bi-annual performance reviews of the team

6. Reporting:
Support in the consolidation of monthly sales reports submitted by team members

7. Continuous Improvement:
· Identify areas for continual improvement within the sales department

· Attend training courses / seminars / trade shows

· Develop, implement and update procedures within the department

Yêu Cầu Công Việc

·        Tertiary studies in Tourism, Hospitality or Business (post-graduate level preferred)

·        Knowledge of business, tourism, geography, foreign cultures

·        Abroad experience/study is advantage

·        Knowledge of the tourism market

·        Min 5 years of sales experience in hospitality industry in a senior role

·        Proven expertise of knowledge of the local tourism DMC market and of (some) oversea markets

·        Outgoing personality with high awareness of selling luxury products

·        Strategic planning experience

·        Good communicator & detailed orientated. Fast learner, pro-active, able to think broad and understanding of conceptual and comprehensive topics.
