To ensure the smooth, timely, high-quality, and safe construction and completion of Starbucks' chain of coffee shops, handing them over to the operations team for opening on the approved date.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Site Survey:
Collaborate with the RE team during the site survey process for new store locations.
Take photos, create a site survey report, and deliver a kick-off presentation to the design AP according to Starbucks' standard template.
2. Construction Plan Development and Production Ordering:
Develop and implement a detailed construction plan based on the company's design and update it regularly according to adjustments from the BOD.
Allocate resources and time for each project phase and concurrent projects of the company.
Send necessary information to obtain quotes and order items:
Local build-in furniture, logo signs, stainless steel items in the BOH
Order imported furniture from the company
Order equipment from the company's warehouse: umbrellas, cake cabinets, Mastrena coffee machines, etc.
3. Progress and Budget Management:
Monitor and supervise daily construction progress.
Ensure projects are completed on time as committed to other departments.
Control costs within the approved Capex budget, minimizing unnecessary incurred costs.
4. Quality Supervision:
Inspect the quality of incoming materials according to the design specifications and approved quotes, as well as the work items being constructed on-site.
Ensure construction standards and technical requirements are met in accordance with the company's regulations and the building management's requirements at the store location.
5. Communication and Reporting:
Work with stakeholders such as architects, engineers from the main/subcontractors, and technicians from the building management, as well as the Landlord's technical representatives.
Update progress and report the project status to the direct manager and higher-level leaders when requested.
6. Problem Solving:
Identify and address issues that arise during construction promptly.
Propose effective solutions to quickly resolve unexpected situations.
7. Communication with AP Design, OPS, and Internal Teams:
Discuss and coordinate with the AP design team during the following stages: exchanging drawing details, submitting material samples, and making design adjustments during construction.
Record feedback from OPS and relevant departments during the construction process.

Qualifications - Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Construction, Architecture, Project Management, or a related field.
5-7 years of experience in interior construction, preferably for coffee or F&B projects.
English: Intermediate (able to read and understand drawings, and write).
